Jazz pianist


„He is patient, but knows when to push through”, – says the students and collegues of the TonArt team. Kęstutis joined the teaching team of the studio in 2020 and quickly became popular among students. His distinctive competences are teaching jazz, improvisation and classical music adapted to students with or without prior experience.

Kęstutis Pavalkis

K. Pavalkis received the university education of improvisation, jazz and classical music at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre at prof. Aleksandra Žvirblyte and prof. Artūras Anušauskas classes. He is the laureate of international piano competitions. As a soloist performed with the Lithuanian State Symphony and the Lithuanian Chamber orchestras.

Kęstutis is well-known for his projects with famous lithuanian singers and bands like Justė Arlauskaite-Jazzu, Jurga Šeduikyte and Saulius Petreikis World Orchestra. He is frequently invited to do the piano part at the interdisciplinary projects of theatre, film and other forms of art. You can hear him playing in „Have A Good Day” (the contemporary opera), „Išvarymas”, theatre play by Oskaras Koršunovas as well as in partnership with lithuanian actors Dominykas Vaitiekūnas and Oneida Kunsunga-Vildžiūnienė in their musical theatre performance „History Is Made at Night”.
